Organizing a Team: This is 5 on 5 passing flag football. Ideally you want 7-8 players on your team. You may have up to 10 players maximum. You must have at least 5 players to sign up your team. If you need to draft additional players, please contact us, and we will connect you with free agent players.
Register Your Team: Click here to register your team: Sign Up. Once you fill out the online form, you may pay via PayPal to finalize your registration. If you do not pay online, you will receive a payment form at the address provided. Simply mail in payment form with the team fee payment of $425. You have the option of paying the officiating fee of $275 upfront, or before each game. More information on the officiating fee below.
Making Payment: Once you complete the online Team Registration Form you have the option of paying online via PayPal or being billed for the team fee. (Note: Payment of $425 pays for your whole team, whether you have the minimum of 5 players or the maximum of 10 players). If you pay online you have the option to make payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, E-Check, or ACH through PayPal. Just click on the “PayPal” button on this page to get started. Once you complete your online payment, your registration is complete. If you opt to pay the balance by check or money order, you will receive a bill at the address provided. Please mail the payment form, including a $425 Team Registration Fee, plus a $275 Officiating Fee (Upfront payment of the officiating fee is optional) for the season. Please make the check or money order, payable to “SoCal Flag Football” and submit it with the payment form to 174 W. Foothill Blvd. #293, Monrovia CA 91016. Once you have paid your team fee, your team is registered. Check this website for your teams schedule. All remaining paperwork including Athletic Waivers, Player and Captains Contracts, will be completed before the start of the scrimmage game. Please arrive early.
Deposits: If you would like to ensure your teams participation in the next season, you may make a deposit of $125. The remaining $300 balance may be paid one week before the season starts. You may pay via PayPal, which accepts all major card types, or you may just mail a check or money order payable to SoCal Flag Football, to 174 W. Foothill Blvd. #293, Monrovia CA 91016. If you make payment via check or money order, please include your team name and phone number on the check. In addition, please submit an e-mail to admin@socalflagfootball.com, subject line, “Team Deposit”. Please provide your name, phone number, check number, and team name.
Officiating Fee: Your team must pay a $275 officiating fee for the season. There are three ways you may pay for the officiating fee. You can pay it along with the $425 registration fee, for a total of $700. You can pay the $275 separately, or you can pay the $25 before each game. You only have to pay for 11 games. $25 x 11 games = $275. If your team advances to post season play beyond the first round, you do not have to pay additional officiating fees. The $275 fee covers the entire season. You can pay via check/money order, or use PayPal on this page.
Refunds: Your team will receive a full refund if the season or tournament is cancelled.
Game Rules: Each Captain will receive a full set of rules. The basic rules of play are listed on this website here. Your team will have the opportunity to learn the rules at the scrimmage game. The scrimmage game will not count towards your record.
Schedule Changes: If games are postponed for any reason, it is your responsibility to notify any player that does not have access to the internet. If you do not have access to the internet, designate someone who will notify players of the schedule. Every team is guaranteed at least 11 games, 10 regular season games and 1 playoff game. Cancelled games will be made up during the season.
Location: Monrovia, CA. Once you are registered, you will be notified of location.
Uniforms: Every team is encouraged to wear uniform colored shirts or jerseys with a permanent number on it. If you do not have uniforms, mesh shirts will be provided for your team until you get uniforms. Your jersey must be numbered for your statistics to be taken. No pads or helmets are permitted. No metal cleats are allowed. It is recommended that you wear a mouthpiece for your safety.
